When is Rand Show 2019?
Friday 19 – Sunday 28 April 2019
What time does the Rand Show close?
Exhibition halls and outdoor exhibits close at 19:00 daily
The Festival Stage & Amusement Park will operate until 21:00
Box Office and entry into the venue closes at 19:00 daily
What is included in my entry ticket?
All performances on the Festival Stage, arena activities, in-hall stages, entrance to the Flower & Garden Expo, Animal Kingdom and animal shows, science edutainment shows and much more. Click here for information on the programmes and attractions.

How do the ticketing age groups work?
Children under 6 years of age are admitted at no charge and do not require an entrance ticket.
Children’s tickets are valid for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years old.
Teens tickets are valid for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 16 years old.
Pensioners’ tickets are valid for persons over the age of 65 years.

Proof of identity may be requested at the entrances.

Where can we purchase school group tickets?
These tickets are available from your closest Computicket outlet or Shoprite Checkers Money Market counter. The ticket costs for school groups are the same as those for other visitors and school groups are encouraged to take advantage of the midweek special from Tuesday 3 – Thursday 5 April 2018. Normal entrance fees apply.

School groups attending the Rand Show by bus are requested to pre-purchase their entry tickets for express entrance and to proceed to Turnstile 7 / 8 where there is designated parking for buses.

Do you offer Halaal Catering Options?
Yes there are Halaal outlets at five our public catering facilities:
Oliver’s Fish & Chips, Curry Leaves Halaal, Schwarma Bar, Naanz Kitchen Bar and Indian Street Side Foods
Is there disabled parking available?
There are disabled parking bays available. We recommend visitors requiring disabled parking pre-purchase their entry tickets from Computicket and show these to the parking team who will direct you to the designated parking bays. Entrance through Gate 1 / 2.
Are there disabled restroom facilities?
Yes there are disabled restroom facilities in both Link 5/6 and Link 8/9.
May we bring our own food and refreshments?
Regrettably for health and safety reasons food and refreshments may not be brought to the Rand Show. The Rand Show offers a wide variety of catering outlets and food trucks for all our visitors to enjoy.
How & where do I purchase tickets for the Amusement Park?
The Amusement Park is located through Link 8/9 and has its own dedicated ticket office operational from 10:00 – 20:00 daily.
Where do I purchase tickets for the helicopter rides?
Helicopter ride tickets are available from Capital Air at the Helipad next to Turnstile 3 / 4.
What happens if my child gets separated from me?
Any children who become separated from their parents will be taken to the Medical Centre at the entrance to Hall 10 until they are reunited with their parents.
What time does the Rand Show open?
Gates and on-site ticket sales open at 10:00 daily. For express entry we recommend you pre-purchase your tickets from Computicket.
Where can I purchase tickets to the Rand Show?
From any Computicket outlet or Shoprite Checkers Money Market counters.
May I collect my pre-purchased tickets at the entrance to the Rand Show?
To avoid delays at the entrances please collect your pre-purchased tickets from any Computicket outlet or Shoprite Checkers Money Market counter prior to arrival at the Rand Show venue. The nearest Shoprite Checkers Money Market counter at Southgate Shopping Centre, Rifle Range Rd, Mondeor

There will be dedicated express lanes at the entrances for visitors who have pre-purchased their tickets through Computicket. Please take advantage of the opportunity to jump the queue by pre-purchasing your tickets through Computicket outlets or at any Shoprite Checkers Money Market counter.

What happens if I don’t make it to the Rand Show on the day I purchased a ticket for?
Full price tickets are valid for entrance on any one of the Rand Show dates from Friday 30 March – Sunday 8 April 2018. You simply present your ticket to the gatekeepers at the entrance for admission.

Midweek tickets are valid for any one of the midweek dates, namely Tuesday 3 April – Thursday 5 April 2018. You simply present your ticket to the gatekeepers at the entrance for admission.

Can I get a pass-out once I have entered the Rand Show and return later on the same day?
Regrettably due to the high volume of visitors it is not feasible to issue pass-outs for visitors. Should you purchase large items from one of our exhibitors we recommend that you ask them to hold same for you to collect on your way to the exit.
Where is the Prayer Room?
The Prayer Room is situated in Office 19 in Link 5/6 between Halls 5 and 6.
Can we hire a wheelchair at the Rand Show?
Regrettably we do not have wheelchairs available for hire. You are most welcome to bring your own wheelchair.
What items may we not bring into the Rand Show?
The Rand Show is a family event aimed at providing an enjoyable day out for all families visiting the Rand Show. For the safety and comfort of all visitors we request visitors not to bring any of the following onto the venue, the Johannesburg Expo Centre premises:

– No pets or animals
– No article that may be defined as a weapon
– No food or refreshments
– No cooler boxes
– No alcohol or narcotics
– No fireworks, sparklers or crackers

Is there public parking? How much does it cost?
The venue has ample outdoor public parking within the Nasrec precinct. Public Parking is available at a cost of R20.00 per vehicle.
How much are Amusement Park tickets?
Amusement Park tickets are R20.00 each and are sold in books of 10. Rides use between 1 and 3 tickets depending on the ride.
Are there ATM’s on site?
Yes, there are ATM’s from ABSA, First National Bank, Nedbank and Standard Bank on site.
Where do I purchase tickets for the drifting car rides?
From Supadrift next to Turnstile 3 / 4 past the 4X4 track.
Where is lost property collected?
Should you have lost any items please proceed to the Rand Show’s information office located in the information tower adjacent to the Lake.
